Our story
Not a car yard. A mobility platform.
Buying an electric or hybrid vehicle raises new questions — about batteries, charging, range and resale — and the traditional car-buying process wasn't built to answer them. Buyers end up piecing together a seller, a lender, an inspector and a delivery on their own.
Indigo Automotive was founded in Brisbane by someone with more than 25 years of experience working in automotive dealerships, to do that differently: one place to find the vehicle, understand it, finance it, inspect it, order it and have it delivered.
We're a marketplace facilitator. We connect buyers with private sellers and dealers and coordinate the services around a sale. For a private sale, we don't automatically take ownership of the vehicle — it passes from the seller to the buyer.
