How it works

Find, understand, finance, inspect, order, deliver

Buying an electric or hybrid vehicle shouldn't mean piecing together a dozen providers. Here's how the journey works on Indigo Automotive, from first search to your driveway.

Who's who

Everyone's role in a sale

Indigo is the marketplace facilitator. For a private sale we don't automatically take ownership of the vehicle — it passes from seller to buyer.

Buyer

Finds the vehicle, asks questions, test drives, and chooses which services to use — finance, inspection, delivery.

Private seller

Owns and lists the vehicle, agrees the sale with the buyer, and can add photography, inspection or roadworthy help.

Dealer

Lists electrified inventory, sells under its own licence and process, and can offer Indigo services to its buyers.

Indigo Automotive

Runs the marketplace, answers questions, and coordinates test drives, finance referrals, inspections and delivery.
